Editorial Policies

Kasing2 considers and accepts work from Visayan and Visayan diaspora writers regardless of their publication experience, or lack thereof. However, each piece is rigorously evaluated to maintain professional standards. No piece is published in our magazine without the editors meticulously proofreading and refining it for accuracy, quality, grammar, spelling, etc., while retaining the original author’s unique voice.

Our editorial staff consists of experienced, professional writers who have been published across the globe and have written for reputable media outlets such as the Philippine Daily Inquirer (Philippines) and The Line of Best Fit (United Kingdom).

Our magazine has a strict anti-generative AI policy. We carefully verify all of the published content on our site. Please be aware that some AI text detection apps are likely to produce false positives when you feed them content (especially if it’s professionall; do not lightly accuse our writers of using generative AI tools without evidence.

None of our articles are paid advertisements unless clearly marked as “sponsored content.” Non-factual pieces (literary works and fiction) are clearly labeled as such. For our non-fiction pieces, we adhere to the Editors’ Code of Practice by the Independent Press Standards Organisation.
